Description
This vaginal exam model makes it possible to see images of the student's actual finger movements inside the vagina when practicing vaginal exams. Instructors can now show trainees specifically how fingers should move when performing the exam, also confirming proper movement and technique. Sensors attached to fingers enable measurement and display distances and movement. There is a line connecting the ischial spines (zero station) that can be displayed. Like all KOKEN Models, there is a life-like feel, and the Cervix and other vaginal structures closely resemble the feel of the living body.
Further functionalities also include:
- Bishop scores from late-stage pregnancy to beginning of labor can be confirmed.
- A fetal head model can be used to gauge rotation the fetal head by varying the positions of sagittal sutures and the posterior fontanel.
- Rotation of fetus at delivery can also be confirmed by means of 3-dimensional animation.
