This incredible mini-torso from Axis Scientific will be a perfect addition to your studies. The torso is just 17 inches tall, but it packs an incredible amount of detail in this small package. The torso features 12 parts, including removable lungs, heart, liver, stomach, intestines, and head. The head can be bisected, and one half of the brain can be removed as well.
Each of the parts is meticulously crafted to display all major anatomical features. The heart can be bisected, allowing for a clear view of the internal structures of the heart, and easily snaps back together. The lungs, stomach, liver, and intestine can be removed as well, and the cecum can be easily removed from the intestine for additional internal view. The torso utilizes a combination of easy to use hooks and hidden magnets to keep the torso together, making assembly a snap.

A: Yes, even though this model is not as large as it's counterparts, it does not lack in any detail. This model is numbered so that each feature can be easily found and viewed.
Q: Does this torso come in a life-size version?
A: Yes, we do have two different life-size versions of this model. They are the Axis Scientific 27 Part Torso and the Axis Scientific 18 Part Torso.
Q: What exactly does unisex mean?
A: Unisex means that this model will come with no genitalia.
Q: How much assembly is required?
A: When you open the box, the entire torso will be assembled. You will need to carefully remove it from the packaging, and individually remove each organ from the torso, to remove the protective packaging from the model. It usually takes just a few minutes to get all packaging removed and to start using this torso model.
Q: Is this torso available in other skin tones?
A: Unfortunately, not at this time. This model is only available in a white/Caucasian skin tone. Luckily, all human beings are the same on the inside!
Q: What is included with the model?
A: This model comes assembled, and mounted on a sturdy white base. In addition to receiving the model, you will also receive a full-color, comprehensive product guide detailing over 50 individual anatomical parts and regions.
