DNA Anatomy Model

The DNA Anatomy Model is from 3B Scientific and manufactured in Germany. This DNA model is suspended on nylon line between two wooden plates. The assembly instructions allow you to build a DNA coded for the first part of the protein lysozyme. The tubes are colored to indicate the type of bond. The contents include: 15 base pairs, being one and a half turns of the helix; two types of tubes, green and white for covalent and hydrogen bonding respectively; and eight types of atom center in five different colors. This anatomy model kit contains over 1,000 atom centers. This model is best used for student education and/or patient consultation. The DNA Anatomy Model is 12.6 x 7.5 x 2.8 in and weighs 1.54 lbs.
