Description
This is an EsophagoGastroDuodenoscopy simulator that allows an endoscope to be inserted in the upper gastrointestinal tract to perform an exam. Both transoral and trasnasal insertion are possible. The difficulty of transnasal insertion may be adjusted by placing the nasal septum pieces to the right or left to deviate. It is made of a silicone rubber and has realistic coloring inside, making the simulator look and feel life-like. Gastric ulcers and gastric cancer are shown in the stomach. An ulcer is present in the duodenum. The facial portion of the model can be opened in half to observe the nasal and oral cavities and the larynx. Weighs approximately 18 lbs. Manufactured in Japan.

A: The silicon material of the stomach and deodenum are very flexible and pliable.

A: The KOKEN EGD Simulator is best used to train the insertion of the endoscopy from both mouth and
nose (as well as operation and observation).
Q: Can additional lengths of the duodenum be added?
