ORTHOBones Femur

Not only is the femur the heaviest bone in the human body, it is also the longest, measuring approximately 26% of an individuals height. This is especially useful for anthropologists identifying a skeleton. The bone itself plays host to a variety of muscle origins and insertions, including the gluteal muscles, adductors of the thigh region, and quadratus femoris.
