Description
A flexible life-size model of the right foot and ankle with the tarsal, metatarsal and phalanges bones strung on elastic cord. The bones can be pulled apart for study. The bones are color coded and labeled with muscle origins and insertions. The foot is kept in its shape with a guide wire, fed through the metatarsals, which keeps the foot in tact and accurate, while still allowing movement. The lower part of the tibia and fibula are wired together for strength and form.
