Q & A

Q: How flexible are the ligamented joints on this model?
A: The joint ranges in allowable movement. We do not recommend you bend the hip joint past the suggested range of movement.

Anteversion = 90 degrees
Retroversion = 45 degrees
Internal Rotation = 45 degrees
External Rotation = 45 degrees
Lateral Movement = 20 degrees

Q: Does the model come off the stand?
A: This model is secured to the base with a threaded bolt and nut. Technically, yes, you can remove it from the base, however we recommend you keep the model securely fashioned to the base to avoid damaging the model. Keeping it mounted on the base also ensures flexibility is easy to demonstrate.

Q: Are there other products that I should get with this model?
A: This model pairs well with an anatomical chart, such as our collection of hip charts:

Hip And Knee Anatomical Chart
Stretching for Hip, Knee and Ankle Laminated Fitness Poster
The Lower Extremity Laminated Anatomy Chart
Joints Of The Lower Extremities Anatomical Chart
Hip and Hip Joint Laminated Anatomy Chart
Muscles of Buttock, Hip and Pelvis Laminated Anatomy Chart

The Rudiger Anatomie Foot Skeleton with Ligaments, the Rudiger Anatomie Functional Shoulder Joint with Ligaments, the Rudiger Anatomie Functional Knee Joint with Ligaments, and the Rudiger Anatomie Hand Skeleton with Ligaments all make great additions to your well-rounded joint model collection. We recommend that users collect models from the same brand to ensure a consistent learning or consultation experience.

Q: Is this model considered life size?

A: Yes, this model is life size. The dimensions are 15 x 5.1 x 7.1

Q: What type of warranty comes with this model?
