This anatomical model features the corrosion cast specimen of a human placenta embedded in crystal-clear plastic. The placenta includes detailed spatial portrayal of vessel arborisation and progression. The placenta villi is achieved by injecting different colored plastics in the placental vessels: red in the placental arteries and blue in the placental veins.
